Create Database and Pipe Specs

Spec Editor

Spec Editor is used to manage the content which is necessary for Sovelia Routing. This is the key part of the product so it can be used successfully.
Here we will point out which content should be used.

The recommended content type is Content Center Libraries but it’s also possible to point out library files, both ipt and iam.

Database

All data you manage in Spec Editor will be stored in a lokal database (*.sqlite file). To create a new database click plus icon + next to and type in name for the database. You can create multiple databases but you can only work with one at a time in the design process.

Spec

In each database you can create pipe specifications. It’s recommended to have only one pipe type/standard in each spec and its corresponding fittings.
In each spec you will manage pipes and fittings in different tab. To create a new Spec click plus icon + next to the Spec textbox and type in name for the spec.

The database is an .sqlite-file which is stored in the database folder in your configuration path.
Configuration files button in Help-flyout menu opens folder location.
