Navigating links

Objects are linked together to:

• form bill of materials
• attach documents and drawings to items
• define what is changed by an engineering change order
• etc.

Object structure

You can view and expand the object structure in the grid view.

Where used

Parents and Top parents tabs show objects that the current object is used in. Parents are direct links and Top parents are the highest level objects (not used anywhere) of the where used hierarchy.

There are also other tabs that show related objects. For example, ECO will show the Engineering change order that has been used to drive the creation or modification of the item.
