# Place on Components Type.ini

The Place on Component Type.ini files contains configuration settings, component information and tables for the different component types in [Place on Components](/v1/docs/place-on-component). The file name appears as a component type in the Component Type list box in the Place on Component dialog.

The Cadit Place on Component Type files are located in the library folder, under the OnComponents folder.

| *Type1=* *Type2=* … | property name\| property value \| section heading example: ct_parts_template \|hea.ipt\|HEA HEB | The type keys are numbered from 1 and up for each component type to check. The value is divided into three elements divided by a \| First element is the property name to check. Second is the value of the property. The third element refers to the component type sub section heading in the file to go to if found. In the example, if the value of ct_parts_template is hea.ipt, the program goes to the component type sub section HEA HEB |

| *TemplateFile=* | Template file name example: HEA HEB Intermediate PL.iptName of the template file to be inserted |  |

| *DestParam1=* *DestParam2=* … | Parameter name | Parameter name on the new component to set the value from the corresponding SourceParam number. The keys are numbered from 1 and up for each parameter |
