Place in position

Place in Position inserts one or more, parts or assemblies, to a specific insertion point in the active assembly. The rotation about the z-axis, and if the inserted component should be Grounded or Referenced can be selected.

Start from Assembly ribbon, Sovelia panel:

Command	Value
File name	Path and filename of the component ipt or iam file. More than one file can be selected. Separate the file names with a
	Browse for new component files. Select File types as Component, ipt, iam, shell or base. More than one file can be selected
Insertion point	Type in insertion coordinates and rotation about Z axis
Properties	Select properties for the inserted component
---	Grounded, Makes the component grounded
---	Referenced, Makes the BOM structure referenced for the occurrence of the component in the assembly
Help	Starts the help topic for this dialog
Place	Places the selected component into the active assembly with insertion point and properties as selected. Tip: Use Home View, Zoom All or Find in Window to see the inserted component.
Close	Closes the dialog box
