Item driven workflow

The Sovelia Template has two preset methods to manage the engineering workflow. The workflow can be item driven or managed using the Engineering change order (ECO). This can be setup in the administration. The item review process is not part of the ECO process and is always item driven.

The item driven workflow is controlled by fields on the item. Email notifications are sent when the item is promoted and lists are available on the Items dashboard for users to manage their tasks.

The Designer field defines who is responsible for the design work.

A graph shows the designer how many items are at status In Design and also the items already sent for Design Review. The items can be accessed by clicking the graph.

Design Review can be assigned to a user and/or a review group.

The used fields can be setup in the administration. Also graph visibility can be defined.

Design Review responsibilities are shown to the user in a graph grouped by item type.

Group assignments are grouped by the group.

In Production approval can be assigned to a user and/or a approval  group.

The field to use can be setup in the administration. Also visible graphs can be defined.

Approval responsibilities of Design ready are shown to the user in a graph grouped by item type.

Group assignments are grouped by the group.
