Overview

The Partner access template manages external organizations (manufacturers, suppliers, customers, ...) and their users. These users are able to access information linked to their organization and, depending on their role, create new information. The access is valid not only to the directly linked information but any information in the structure its structure.

The initial setup in the Sovelia PLM Template consists of two external roles. One for viewing purposes only. The other also gives limited edit and creation rights. Additional partner user roles can be setup and the access rights of the existing roles can be modified.
